For your health, you’re most likely going to want to launder your linens more often.

You slip between the sheets every day — they’re your home for a good night of sleep. And for as much contact our bodies make with our sheets, we let them go in between washes a surprisingly long time. The average person changes their sheets every 24 days, according to a survey of 1,000 Americans by Mattress Advisor. Respondents said that they could technically go longer, saying it would get gross at about 35 days.
