WHO Launches Network to Detect, Prevent Infectious Disease Threats

With the goal of reaching every corner of the earth to detect infectious diseases as they appear, the World Health Organization is partnering with key countries in all continents and private entities such as the Wellcome Trust and the Rockefeller Foundation to form a new global organization to monitor, identify and track diseases.
